Amstel Light | Heineken International
A special light beer containing only 3.5% alcohol and approximately 35% fewer calories than regular lager beer. But every bit as thirst-quenching and refreshing. Bright and clear appearance. Larger bubbles stick to the side, while small champagne bubbles drift to the top. Beautiful Pilsner Color. Yellowish Golden. Minimal to no cap until swirled, resulting in a thin head. Lacing is nice as it sticks to the glass. The aroma is typical Pilsner-esque. Rich Malty Euro lager smell, herbal somewhat buttery and roasted nutty aroma. Now talking about taste. As the flavor builds, you get a light Pilsner malt. A little old fashioned bread, buttery, lightly roasted herbal quality. The finish is a kiss of hops. Very clean with a slight woody undertone.

Brooklyn Choclate
This is the famous Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. Given this beer’s higher ABV and sturdy character, we think it’s a prime candidate for cellaring. Find a cool, dry spot away from light sources, and see how it changes in the years to come. You never quite know what will happen when you age a beer: perhaps the body will smooth out, notes of vanilla, oak, and tannins will come to the front, or hints of leather and soy sauce will make themselves known. No matter what, remember that beer is meant for drinking, so don’t keep it to yourself for too long.

At Arrogant Bastard Brewing Co., we believe that pandering to the lowest common denominator represents the height of tyranny—a virtual form of keeping the consumer barefoot and stupid. As the progenitor of its style, Arrogant Bastard Ale has reveled in its unprecedented and uncompromising celebration of intensity. There have been many nods to Arrogant Bastard Ale...even outright attempts to copy it...but only one can ever embody the true nature of Liquid Arrogance!

Warsteiner German Pelsner

Whalers Rise - Whalers Brewing Company
Slightly hazy golden straw color appears yellow in front of light. Big smell of bright piney and floral hops with some citrus and malt sweetness. Taste begins bitter and semi-dry as caramel malt changes the middle to semi-bitter and semi-sweet with light citrus. Bitterness returns for the quick dry finish as the malt richness fades, the bright hops from the smell plus peppery spice linger on the palate for a while. Medium bitterness overall. Medium body, above average carbonation. Smooth despite the big hop flavors and bitterness. Nice balance of hop bite and semi-sweet malt.
